Eileen has a unique passion for helping others become the best versions of themselves. Through therapeutic tools that build new skill sets and self-awareness, Eileen teaches her clients how to align their actions and values and create uniquely fulfilling lives. For more than nine years, Eileen has provided direct clinical care to individuals, groups and families in a variety of settings. Her primary clinical experience includes working with individuals and family members of individuals struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and addiction.
Eileen has a specialty and unique interest in working with eating disorders and disordered eating behaviors. She worked at Carolina House, a leading provider of care for people struggling with eating disorders, serving in the capacity of primary therapist and Clinical Director. At Carolina House, Eileen she became an expert on supporting those struggling with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Body Dysmorphia and the spectrum of problematic behaviors that coincide with disordered eating and poor body image. Eileen promotes the philosophy of body acceptance vs. weight loss. She supports her clients in identifying the root cause of dysfunctional behaviors, building healthy coping skills, and uncovering a path to feeling whole.
Eileen completed her BA in Psychology from Indiana University and her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from UNC Charlotte. She holds a License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina. In her free time, Eileen enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
